Economic Development

The Village of Butler as well as its Communty Development Authority actively promote the economic development of our community with three specific goals in mind;

Advocate and champion Butler as a great place for business.

Retain and recruit businesses that add to the value of the existing economic base.

Provide programs, tools and policies that assist local businesses and promote high quality development and/or redevelopment.

The Village of Butler has an active Tax Incremental FInancing District with several CDA-owned vacant parcels fronting Hampton Avenue and/or 124th Street. These parcels present an excellent developoment opportunity!
