Parking Permit

In accordance with Section 32.81 of the Butler Municipal Code, parking permits are required for anyone parking on the street or in the municipal parking lots overnight. Failure to obtain a parking permit may result in a parking citation being issued to the owner of the vehicle. A parking permit does not exempt vehicle owners from the alternate side parking regulations or winter parking rules.

Parking permits are sold in quarterly and yearly increments and can be purchased at the Village Administration Counter at Village Hall. No single month permits are offered. Permits are $36 for a quarter or $144 for an annual permit. Permit costs are prorated if obtained in the middle of a quarter or during the current permit year.

If you are parking on the Village streets for only a night or two, the Police Department does have an overnight parking permission request form that you can fill out and turn in to the Department. This form can be found here.
