2017 Christmas Parade

The annual Christmas Parade and Celebration will take place on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2nd starting at 2:00 pm.

This date and time will allow families with younger children to enjoy the parade and have time to visit with Santa, who joins us at the Community Building in Frontier Park, 5251 N 127th St.

The parade starts at 2:00 p.m., at 127th St and Arden Place. It will proceed north on 127th Street to Frontier Park. Although the Christmas lights won’t be as visible in the afternoon, it will be easier for young and old alike to enjoy the parade and those who are marching in it.

Our youngest citizens can be an active part of the annual Christmas parade by donning a Hero or Princess costume. Both Heroes and Princesses will be led by adult volunteers. Parents are welcome to march along, too. The parade route is just about a mile long, from Arden Place on 127th St to Frontier Park.

PS: The annual S.V.E.V.D’Oberlandler German Dance Club Cookie Sale starts at Noon December 2nd, at the Butler Community Building. Save room in your cookie tins!
