We now have a drug disposal box located in the lobby of Village Dall by the Police Department. The box is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4PM.
- You may dispose of solid, non-liquid medication(s) by removing the medication from its container and placing it directly into a clear sealable plastic bag and then into the drug box. If you did not bring a clear sealable plastic bag, ask for assistance at the police department, one will be provided.
- Blister packages are acceptable without the medications being removed.
- Liquid medications will be accepted. However, the liquids, creams and sprays must be in their original packaging. Liquids without the original packaging will not be accepted.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
- llegal drugs, needles/sharps, mercury thermometers, aerosol cans, bio-hazardous materials (anything containing a bodily fluid or blood), flares, personal care products (shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens, etc…), household hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, chemicals, oil, or gas) or acids.
