Open Book and Board of Review Dates Set
Open Book will take place on April 18th, 19th, 23rd, 25th, and 30th, as well as May 2nd. Each of those days the assessor will have appointments between 10am and 12pm and 1pm and 3pm. These appointments will be a half hour each.
Board of Review will take place on May 22nd at 5pm.
Please note that this year is a revaluation year as the assessment ratio for the Village has decreased to be 0.73. This means that the Village is out of compliance with State Statutes and should conduct what is called a revaluation of the property in the Village. Because of this you may see an increase in your property's assessed value. These dates above will let you contest the new valuation if you feel that it is incorrect.
